Wendy Dio has been working as a music industry professional for over twenty years. She has received numerous awards for her stage set and theatrical design, as well as concert and video production. She is also one of the original founders of Los Angeles Women in Music and the motivating force behind the Hear N Aid charity project. In 1993 she opened an antique and home furnishings store in Studio City called the Ivy Cottage. This led to her current store called The Ivy, a 15,000 square foot store at 12318 Ventura Blvd. in the heart of Studio City.

As an established business of almost twenty years, the Ivy's eclectic merchandise and its proximity to major studios, results in a clientele of mainly television, film and industry professionals. Featured in Vogue, Metropolitan Home, Veranda, Lucky, People and numerous other publications, the Ivy has built a reputation for its selection of designer pieces as well as sought after antiques.

The Ivy currently features Fine European and Domestic furnishings, Modern, Antique and Retro furniture and accessories, Hand-painted Brazilian Rosewood furniture, Estate and Costume Jewelry, Lighting, Fine Silver, Rugs, Linens, Pottery, Paintings and Prints, Wrought Iron, Garden and Architectural pieces.
